St Lucia Reach the Top, but the Table Needs Context

St Lucia’s six points placed them first immediately after Match 13, but they had also played six matches.

Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Tridents remained particularly dangerous because both had collected four points from only two games.

Antigua’s chase could hardly have started worse.

Mayers removed Amir Jangoo for two from the fourth ball of the first over.

Karima Gore counterattacked with 22 from 15 balls, helping the Falcons avoid becoming trapped by the required rate, before Obed McCoy removed him at 36 for two.

The chase was alive, but it was not under control.

Evin Lewis was dropped twice.
