Christine Anabelle

Christine Anabelle is a Cebu City-based sports writer and digital marketing professional with a particular interest in soccer, tennis, rugby, the Olympics, and major international sporting events.

Born into a Filipino-Spanish family, Christine grew up with influences from both cultures, an international outlook that later complemented her work with North American companies. She currently works remotely in digital marketing, giving her professional experience across online communication, audience behavior, content, and the fast-moving world of digital media.

Her interest in sports developed into a passion for writing as she began looking beyond results and scorelines to the athletes, personalities, rivalries, and human stories surrounding competition. At 23, Christine is also raising two young children, a daughter and a son, while balancing motherhood, her digital-marketing career, and sports writing. Her experience managing several parts of her life at a young age brings energy and a distinctly personal perspective to her work.
